Started in 1923, Finnair appears to be the number one air carrier in Finland. You can find its headquarter in Vantaa. Helsinki Airport is its major hub. The company is the sixth oldest carrier in continuous operation. Moreover, it’s one of the safest carriers worldwide – since 1963 the company has lost none of its hulls.
As for 2020, Finnair managed to carry 11,9 million customers to more than 7 North American, 20 Asian as well as 100 European destinations. The overall number of the company’s staff members accounts for 5,918.
Customers are free to choose up to 130 destinations in more than 40 countries in different parts of the world, including North America, Europe, and Asia.
Earlier, the airline served South America and Africa, in particular, such countries as Brazil, Colombia, and Egypt. The company is planning to get back to these destinations in the near future.
