Delhi's Indira Gandhi International airport is the best airport in india. Especially the Terminal 3 . it can handle even high passenger loads at times.

The airport is clean, and has new duty free. Though the lounges are in pathetic shape. Apart from if you fly emirates.

Although some parts of the airport are decent enough (Holiday Inn Express in the terminal for example), the check-in process can be horrendous, and security took 45 minutes to navigate.
