Minimal facilities at the airport, and long waiting times for check-in. Not a lot of food restaurants, Burger King ran out of meat and a small food shop was full of flies! Not many shops either and if there are, there very limited. The lounge was uncomfortable and the WiFi costed money and hardly worked! Overall, a terrible airport. I recommend not going to that airport. I will rather go to Alicante. Never going back again.

I found it really stupid, that after 10PM most the duty free shops are closed, as well as most of restaurants.
Think about it, usually most the flights at the end of the day are delayed, people are already starting to get frustrated.
This way the shops might even make some sales, and people can't actually bring some presents home.

With quite a few early departures of Valencia it is not an easy way to reach it by public transport as the subway is still closed (thank god my hotel had a taxi delivery service for just 10 euros). The airport facilities were closed too. Starbucks became crowded when it opened the door as first and only. Air conditioning could have been set to a lower temperature as it was quite hot inside
