There was no boarding call to say our flight was boarding. We then had a would the last remaining passengers call. Made us have to rush the last bit of being in the departure area.

It was weird to wait for the stuff to operate the airbridge for more than 10 minutes since the aircraft was parked in a quite airport morning. Totally it was not acceptable.

Very nice quiet and clean airport. Wifi is woeful tho. Always disconnecting and after 2 hours of free wifi, you have to pay for more!
Food outlets are scarce and very expensive air side.
Overall, i enjoyed the quietness and relaxed feel of the airport. Just some let downs that should be easy to fix to become a world class airport

This was my first international flight for many years, so I had no idea what to expect. at the check in counter the lady was very friendly and helpful. All staff in the customs and immigration were very friendly and happy to help out.

The airport is easy to navigate through, customs is very thorough with several dogs sniffing you on your way through immigration. The staff are friendly and I encountered no problems or hold ups.

Despite arriving at a busy time (mid morning on a Saturday), everything was very well organised and we were through customs, immigration and collected our baggage in about 30 mins from stepping off the plane.

Roadworks make getting to the Airport a bit of a lottery. The International departure terminal is a building site and not especially welcoming. it will be nice when its finished!

NZ Customs need to do some planning and staff up when a few flights arrive at the same time.

The airlines could also help by working to provide a fast arrival system for premium travellers (like most other airports around the world!)

Pre-security was mostly fine. After passing through security, we were at the gates right next to the AirNZ lounge. Two full A320s, boarding at the same time from adjacent gates at the end of the terminal with only about 30 seats.

I attempted to go through to the gate after I had checked in but the gate didn't open for another hour and the only good outlets opened at 4am were fast food or a coffee shop that served the worst coffee I have had a in long time.

Shops was a bit lacking at both landside and airside. Free wifi for only 15 minutes is ridiculous for an international airport. Passing through quarantine was a disaster, I waited for over 40 minutes just to pass through it. However, passing through customs was a breeze and making connection between domestic and international flights were seamless. Overall a small international airport with hit and miss.

Problem 1. The last 5 km of road to the airport are diabolical due to a very poor traffic management plan with the roadworks. Problem 2. On August 1st the security screening procedures changed and it is now a requirement to have iPads screened. There is nothing anywhere to inform you of this so your bag is returned to you and the item removed adn screen, your bag has to go through the X-ray again as do you, holding everyone up. The security staff are embarrassed and quite frankly pissed off that the airport can't change the screens detailing what is allowed adn what is not with this simple change.

It is pathetic if one need to get a shuttle bus to transfer from an international to the domestic terminal. The entire AKL has ground transportation like in the third world...

Getting to the airport last year was easier that today. Easy check-in, easy security check, good facilities as well as food services, it would be beneficial having free wi-fi not just for half a hour. Waiting for boarding could be a little bit more confortable, but overall a nice experience.

The extra mile did it. I arrived at AKL late at night, and left my IPad next to the seat. I found out when passed customs. When I told the customs aofficer, he directed me to the luggage claims next to the terminal, and told me they would get it for me. Went there and 15 minutes later I had my IPad back! Top service!

Parking was a bit of a hassle as there is no drop-off point for those with mobility issues. It was very difficult getting to the airline due to the long distance.

Transferred ANZ flight from SYD to ANZ flight to SFO. Airport is just average. Connecting capabilities are good and quick. Terminal is old. ANZ Business Lounge very nice, with excellent food and good wifi. The gates we flew into and out of were very outdated.

Declared epilepsy medication. Directed to inspection lanes. 3 separate queues before I was finally waved through without an inspection. I would rather have had my luggage fully inspected than be in 3 queues just to be let out without being checked. Epileptics don't do well when under stress.

Way to travel,bucket list.Emirates Limo to airport,early check in,early French bubbles in lounge,a pity our lounge doesn't have the runway views like Brisbane or Heathrow (WOW). Some swine nabbed my 23A so had 23K,probably the two best seats in business.
Service great as usual and was able to sleep for the first time on a long haul.Met some great people in the lounge,it was a holiday on it's own

Dubai airport is a beast airport in the world. Emirates inside environment is very relaxable. the crew staff is very good. refreshment is not good but we suggest to Emirates service center please take action about refreshment matter. at last travel of Emirates is peacefull for other airlines.I PROUD TO BE A PAKISTAN.

Fast and efficient seeing as there were three A388 aircraft processing simultaneously, love ePassport processing, so much quicker and more efficient. The public area was very crowded and it was a battle to get throught the crowds to the rental car desk.

Check in experience was less than optimal. Three flights (737) checking in simultaneously. Was in queue from 0500-0630 for a 0700 departure. No time to eat breakfast or to get to the gate without running. Tough call when you need to wake up at 0400 to get to the airport in time.

Plenty of shops and food outlets to fill in wait time groundside, but a Airside is lacking in food and retail and is rather bland. Good view of the apron and main runway from the waiting areas by the upstairs gates.

Auckland is relatively small compared to Melbourne airport so don't worry about getting to baggage claim to quickly as it can take around 20 mins before bags start coming through. The most time consuming part of arrival is immigration as there aren't as many custom officers as there should be for the size or load of passengers coming through, especially an Emirates A380 carrying 450 passengers

Auckland International Airport has great facilities and good shopping both before security and after security. There are good places to sit and people watch and also to get food and drinks.
I really like the Air New Zealand Lounge as the service is lovely and the facilities are great
