This airport is very old and small. In August it is overcrowded with practically no place to seat and very low ceiling, about 2 m or so. Arrivals and departures screen was just one for the terminal and small, so it was very hard to see important info there.

Aeroport qui meriterais une renovation puisqu'il est vraiment trop petit pour accueillir tout ce monde qui vient profiter des vacances. Certains de ces passagers du troisieme age devait attendre debout du au manque de place et de chaise

Old, crowded, dirty airport. CFG-Handling by Swissport - chaotic. 1st counter: check in/weighing. 2nd counter: drop off/security. Why not at one counter?
Long queue at hand luggage check and slack passenger check.
All in all not that nice...

Very small airport. Ive been there only 2 times (arrival/departure). Typical island airport, but very nice landing view :)

I don't have a good feedback for this one - very small and old, had to wait for luggage for about 40 minutes, very chaotic when checked-in. But the positive is that it sure is a good place to hide from the crazy 122 degrees they had last summer.

Very old airport. Dirty and unorganised. Airport always fully crowded and the queues are longer as the airport,queues are ending outside on the car park!

Heraklion is a badly organised airport.Information boards/screens are poor and updates are too slow, causing last second shifts of hundreds of passengers from one gate to another. Bad. Just bad.
