Aunque era el fin de semana de la superbowl, el aeropuerto estaba muy controlado, sin muchos agobios y muy ordenado. Muy claras indicaciones. Especial atencion a inmigracion, pense que pondrian mas trabas.

The airport is pretty far from downtown Houston, and is located far north, which is quite a distance for those who live south of downtown

Early flight, no traffic to Bush but it's a long way from Houston (I know it's Texas). Checkin and security was fast, due to early flight. UA lounge is big but the food is standard buffet.

It is spacious airport with a lot of facilities and i like the hotel inside the airport very comfortable. So it's very recommended for transit, have about six runways one of them has a taxiway crossing over cars road with a beautiful view on board.

The pros of IAH are the beautiful new terminal E, the fine selection of food, and the sheer number of destinations served by United there, especially in Latin America. Customs and immigration is also quite efficient at IAM. The cons are the large distances involved between gates - especially if going from C to E - the annoying electric carts almost running you over with drivers shouting excuse the cart, and the unnecessary statue of George Bush Sr in an illuminated hemispherical niche overlooking the security checkpoint in Terminal C.

Large well-run airport that functions as United Airlines main hub. It's excellent for transfers as it has good connectivity between the terminals. There's both an airside monorail, as well as an underground one, landside, if you have luggage to pick up from baggage claim.

Immigration is similar to other US ports of entry, but seems to be slightly more laid-back.

Nobody told me I'd need to set my watch back 10 years when connecting through the IAH international terminal. Even the United club was all brass, ferns, and wood paneling. Yikes. Turkish Airlines was a breath of fresh air once we were onboard.

Customs was a mad house. We were traveling during the holidays and had to wait in line for 2 hours. When we first arrived, only 3 booths were open. After and hour and a half, they finally got 3 more booths opened. Glad I had a 3 hour lay-over.

Fly through Houston just about every time I fly! I love the airport! Everything is good. Its easy to get to places, and great food! I also love all the widebody planes that fly here! Especially the a380. Terminal B is the only terminal I find busy!

Much time between flights. They were asking for volunteers to change flights. I volunteered and thought it was worked out. However, when I got to the actual boarding gate, no record existed of my offer. Waste of time for me then.
