Airport is nicely updated, but is not big enough to handle the traffic that comes through. No seating areas at gates to wait for flights, so people simply wait in huge lines for boarding. Because all gates are close to one another, it is very difficult to tell if you are in the correct line for your flight.

Check in wanted to enforce some new WizzAir rule that still doesn't exist. They claimed even Wizz Priority doesn't entitle me to take my cabin bag on board. After some arguing they allowed me to take it on board.
Not only did I not get any information about such a change from Wizz it still doesn't work that way how they wanted to enforce me.

Once again, steps down from the aircraft just by the terminal and no lift or escalator available in the terminal, only steps up to the second floor. Bad service

Kevlavik Airport is getting too small for its fast growing number of travellers. I dislike how long lines at the gates congest the airport. I love the shopping facilities and quick transfers. Breaking the journey halfway between Europe and the Americas is definitely a plus.

Terrible set-up that defies logic, a lot of gates don?t have adequate seating for the planes they handle and the seating itself is sub-par. Security is rude and condescending. Check-in a mess, no real order or logic.

Astonishing to see the snow field as you land the airport. Fish and chips we had on arrival was delicious. We were able to do this because we enter schengen area after immigration. Arrival area had lots of shops. Rent-a-car desk was right after we exit the customers area, picked up the car and off we went to the apartment.

Terminal was easy to get around and easy to find your connection gate. Alot of Food places to buy from but expensive and you may get Iceland currency back as change. Immigration was fast just provide your passport and where your going. I had no baggage to pickup.

The best airport what i ever seen! Electrical plugs everywhere, good seating capacity. Wifi with good performance and services at the airport are on the very high level, epsecially food and reatil services. Every European airport should learn about from Keflavik!

Baggage handler of Star Alliance at Reykjavik Airport (ACE Handling) are not present at site, does not want to make missing reports of lost luggage (either by email or telephone) and are in general rude!

Keflavik is a small airport, and depending on the time of departure, can be a pain to get from check-in to your gate. Protip: if you can, don't depart between 6am and 8am, as most European flights from Icelandair and WOW air depart then.

You'l find a giant taxfree store, that'll make sure you won't leave without a souvenir.

Because of the time it takes to get from Reykjavik to Keflavik, you won't be at the airport for long. That said, most gates don't give a good view of the outside of the airport.

Pro: easy getting to the airport if you use a Taxi.
Con:
-Most of the Departures to Europe at the same time in the morning..so the little Terminal is overcrowded.
- Staff at security is very rude and unfriendly
-everything is overpriced, like all of iceland

Must take bus to airport - 40 min. Took 2 hrs to check in, very slow. Once at gate, all 3 intl departures left at the same time and there was no room, almost everyone was standing.

Transferring only, no immigration/customs or security. Holding area for 5 US bound flights was a small area with less than 20 seats. Area was also part of some building works. No time to check out food outlets but toilets where high end for an airport.

Amazing airport! I was very surprised, how all the facilities in such small airport could be this great. There were very kind people in the security check and after that, we had a nice meal in one of the shops. You won't get bored there! There are many opportunities to kill time. Free wifi, comfortable chairs with electricity, also for USB.

Very good airport sitting in the lounge was good but the shops are really expensive. Getting to the terminal and getting around was easy everything was marked and we got to our gate easily boarding the plane was okay too! Airport Rating 4.5/5 :)

Lots of building work going on - with the result that there is one restaurant open to serve all passengers, limited space to sit and poor shops. Service at the one restaurant was slow, although the food was good. Like the ability to but Duty Free on arrival. May be better when all the work is finished but at present, just awful. You're expected to check yourself in but the signage for this is non-existent

Very Good Airport,As We Went To Manchester I Went To The Bar At The Windows To See Some Icelandair Planes.We Went To The Gate Early And Then We Boarded. We Pushed Back 1 Minute Before Departure And I Was Happy. When We Went Back We Were Delayed By 15 Minutes After Schedule Because Of Those Stupid British Taxi Delays And The Baggage Claim Was Great. One Of The Best Airports To Go In

This is a small but very nice airport. Immigration is usually fast on arrival (the biggest plane that youll most likely arrive on is a 757 so not that many people) On departure the line is also very short. The wifi was fast and free which is good. They are also currently revamping baggage claim so it should be improved (I never check bags so I cant truly say how it was)

I really like Keflavik. It has a perfect size, very easy to navigate and you will find everything you will need in the stores. The staff is also very kind and nice. But keep in mind if you're flying there that Keflavik is more than 40 minutes by car from Reykjavik

2 lines for security check. It takes too long to pass through all the passengers in time, especially since it takes a while to transfer flights. Really really long walk between the gate and arrival. The check in was very easy (almost all automated)

Inside, there's almost no restaurants or place to buy food.

Getting to the airport can get difficult and expensive if you do not plan your coach trip in advance. Whilst check-in is nice with IcelandAir, low cost airlines share a couple of desks in one corner, where it gets very crowded. Security is fast, as well as passport control. Free, good wifi available. The duty-free shops and food retailers are quite expensive, more than in Reykjavik's city centre.

This airport is extreme like all island is. There can be no flights in 4 hours, or 12 in one hour. Nice looking, clean, not too crowdy, with great duty free zone and departure area. All planes served with jetways. Heaven for 757s lovers. Unfortunately very expensive and no public transport into it.

Small, good and modern airport.
I use atlest 4 times a year and it just gets better each time.
Very good Duty Free shop, and on average pollite staff. Good free Wifi and the Iceland Air lounge is pretty nice (has just been refurbished, the old one wasent that nice)

Once you land in Keflavik - you have to go through security crap just to get out of the fucking airport. What a piece of shit fucking place.... And they actually grope you all over!!! It's worse than the fucking TSA in the states!!!

A small big terminal. Nice shops, cafeterias but very crowdy and limited gate-areas. Slow computers at the gate. Why not just show the EAN-code on the boarding-pass to the computer and not feed the facts manually??
