Leeds Bradford is situated in a decent location with excellent surface access. The landslide check in area is very easy to navigate around but looks poor aesthetically. They're currently improving the airport so this doesn't surprise me. Check in was slow, due to some sort of error with one of the passengers in front of me. Airside departures was pretty dull looking but again, they're improving it so I'll reserve judgement.

Very busy terminal for early morning departures, but all security lanes were open and moving well. Boarding for our flight was announced earlier than expected as well which was a bonus.

Perhaps I'm too familiar with this airport but it's my joint least favourite. Public transport to it is poor and the drop-off charge extortionate (although you can walk 500m from the Long Stay for a free hour). It's cramped and often very crowded. Security is an affront to humanity - they like humiliating as many people as possible (even making a disabled guy in a wheelchair stand). The retail areas are cramped and unimpressive, there isn't really any lounge area, and unless you're lucky and get an airbridge, expect a bus ride or a walk along the world's longest shabby bus shelter to your aircraft. It's on a hill, built cross-wind, so landings are often eventful.

Very good airport but be careful as the departure lounge is loud and you can barely hear the announcements for flights so make sure to check the departure boards frequently wifi is good and airport is clean

Use this airport most often,
but after resent trip and compared to other airports the departure lounge is lacking
ie unless you are in a bar or having a meal there are very few seats to actuly sit on while waiting for flight !.
the ground floor gents is allso in definate need of a renew or refurb the walls and floor are apalling.
flights and the staff are all ok ,its just the facilitys that need upgrading

this airport seems to have got slightly better but it may be that it was not as busy .but there is still limited amount of seating areas and these seem to be scattered at Radom. But the main compliant is the ?3 drop and pick up charge Plus the cosy cartel that the Airport have with the Taxi firm .Also they have put pressure on other taxis by stopping the parking limits and cost and also they have pressured the Police to enforce dropping off on the public road

Great small airport, bag drop desk opened about 15 mins earlier than advertised, which was fantastic. Security seemed rather lackluster though. Once airside, a good variety of places to grab a bite to eat and while away the time before boarding.

I love LBA because it's near home BUT because of the very scare landings I have had there I am afraid I have to stick with Manchester from now on. I just can't stand the short runway again. Its always windy and if it's windy AND raining it's just awful. The landings are heavy and breaking sharply, it's just too much for me and it's such a shame because the rest of the airport is great. Short stay/drop off parking is ridiculous price though!

On the top of a hill so flights cancelled easily. Fairly small airport with not many amenities. Small check in but there was bio queue for our morning Jet2 flight so we quickly got through, security made me concerned, it seemed you could easily sneak through the area. Burger King in the decent sized, modern waiting area and a large duty free store. From the waiting area there is a large viewing window out onto the runway and taxiways, you can see flights take off/land.

Reasonably easy to reach by car or bus from surrounding area. Check-in and security smooth and quick. There are two lounges, one for business class (excellent bacon buttie) and another for tourist who have paid for upgrade. Departure area can become crowded at busy times

Whilst getting to the airport may be a little harder for others outside the area, once at the airport, the small regional airport is a fantastic airport in the sense that every part of my journey was a hassle free. The airport was clean and tidy, easy to navigate, and well suited for every type of person.

Yorkshiere lounge excellent as always flight down to Bodrum excellent, hhalff hur late tking off due to echnical problem. Lady driver got us there 20 minutes early anyway - well done. Cabin crew Helen, Jenni Amy ans Luke most attenntive

great airport! quiet during school time short queues to check in,short queues for security,not many people in the departure lounge not many people on the aircraft. THIS IS CERTAINLY THE QUIETEST AIRPORT I HAVE BEEN TO!!!!!!

Small airport,was through airport quickly,was going to get 757 airport bus to Leeds,as soon as I got onto the concourse outside,it departed,with no-one on it,surely he could have waited,anyway,in the end I got a taxi.Miserable place.

The same complaint as always pay to drop off and pick up plus the taxi service is a joint venture with the airport so others taxis are stopped from picking up outside
Even if you use them they are still a long walk from terminal which has no covered walkways

Very good airport. Easy to get to. and no hassle once you have checked in. (apart from security check which was slow and heaving with people) would recommend fast track. ?3 per person. Easy to find gates and very relaxing in the lounges before departure. 10/10 for you LBA.

Neat little airport, security is simple (British Airways pax get to use the fast-lanes through screening) and plenty of facilities when airside to eat and buy essentials. The only issue is weird lack of signposting on main roads and lack of any dedicated public transport access.

As said by all the people that use this airport is it can not handle the amount of traffic with is slow security and limited number of transfer buses which make for long delays But one compliant Immigration has improved and is now fully manned .
BUT the biggest complaint of everybody is the drop off charge and the tactics the airport uses to try and stop you dropping off on the roadside by unofficial bollards and the use of its private taxi scheme

Worst airport I have ever experienced! There is no easy or fast way to get to the airport. It's basically in the middle of no where. The only way to drop off passengers is to pay for parking! Ridiculous! It's a bit run down and not much before you go through security. Not a place I would like to get stranded. The passport fast lane is a joke. Rude, bored staff. They act as if they hate working there. The queue is the same for everyone. Security takes a very long time. Not efficient and out of date. Although they advertise free airport wifi it's almost impossible to connect to and you must sign up with their system. I don't trust them with my info! Uncomfortable waiting area seats. It's a shame they have spent so much money on their fancy duty-free stores forgetting what passengers really need! Avoid this airport!!

Not much to do before security but it's very well organised and efficient and you get through very quickly. After security there are a number of shops and eating places, and plenty of areas to sit down or have a bit of a look at the planes outside. A lot of people say it's too small but it's actually reasonably sized.

Security staff need to be looked at, not a busy time for flights however, they were impolite, impersonal and lacked very basic manners. One oldish member of staff actually ordered me to put my tray back. When I say ordered, he actually said put your try back no please or could you. Very very rude. Other than that it is a pleasant enough experience.

The airport has excessive parking charges, and the on-site taxi firm has excessive charges also. Try to use a local taxi company, such as SJK taxis, whose rates are a great deal cheaper.
