Don't forget to buy a sealed plastic bag for liquids before getting to security. I had one but too big (not much in it though)and I had to pay for another one.

Liverpool airport to me seems a budget type airport, I arrived at Liverpool airport last December, claiming baggage took well over an hour, and to disembark from the aircraft, we was kept waiting almost 20 minutes for ground staff bring steps, so we could disembark from the aircraft... Today's experience wasn't as bad as last December, but still, we had to wait almost 10 minutes to disembark, because only 1 ground staff we could see, as for the baggage reclaim, we had to wait around 25 minutes... So I feel it the norm for Liverpool airport, budget service passengers receive.

Parking price is extortion (price of parking for one weekend is almost equivalent to what you pay for 10 days at Manchester airport). Even if you get a friendly person to drop you off, you have to pay drop off charge which is something I have encountered ONLY at this airport. Considering it doesn't offer any exclusive destinations or airlines, I will avoid LPL airport.

My flight arrived 10 minutes ahead of schedule, but we had to wait on the plane for the ground staff to position the steps, the passport process was far more strict forward and boarder staff was efficient, but when we went to collect our baggage, we had to wait well over 1 hour, no baggage officials came to us, it was only when passenger went to lost/damage baggage desk, to inform them, non of our baggage had been unloaded onto the belt, resulting many of us missing our onward transport connection journeys and stuck and the airport for 2-3 hours, because of Liverpool baggage handlers,

Liverpool airport likes to shout about how nice the airport is, but it not much different from stansted airport, basic and vast empty space, and the facilities, are also basic and much is over priced.

Everything at this airport costs money, 2 GBP to even drop off or pick up passengers.
Lots of charity (and others) blocking your way in to either tty to take your money or sell things.
Security unlike anywhere else ever seen!
Airport is grubby

Liverpool people are really friendly and nice. Be nice back to them :-) .. Unfortunately the toilets were being renovated and the substituted toilets had been damaged to an extent. However this would have been done by fellow travelers so we can only blame the other idiots among our numbers, and not the airport!

The Estuary is a nice lounge, not much food on offer but very comfortable and easy to find. No problems through security and bag drop was straight forward with Easyjet. Will definitely use the lounge facilities again.

I enjoyed my trip via Liverpool airport very much and thought it was very alike cork airport in terms of size. We took a bus after arrival to Liverpool one bus station which only 30 mins but the bus was quite packed. We were over for a Liverpool match in anfield and stayed in the nadler in the city centre but the hotel opposite the airport would be a better option for a one night stay. The airport was very nice and the services and staff were very pleasant.

Same airport nothing new.... Security is big for an airport of its size so it goes Pretty quick and the self scan barriers are good too as you can scan your own boarding pass to get through nice and quickly

Its small airport. I found the quck snack by Subway by the entrance much more convenient and economical then dining after security.

Easy access by train, go to Liverpool Parkway and then change to local bus (2.10GPB charge).

Lovely airport. Friendly staff, good selection of shops, quick security, relaxing atmosphere and probably the best named airport in the UK. I feel much happier and relaxed flying out of here than manchester or leeds bradford.

Transport Links are very good indeed and the airport and its local area was in very good condition. Liverpool looses a star because i had to stand at the gate 20 minutes waiting for boarding as there were no seats available.
