T3 windows are fully blocked to see the aircraft movements at the airport. Some of the retail services staff are fustrated.

The airport is a bit messy (especially the new babage pick-up at arrival), and since Lufthansa Group moved to the extreme side of T1 (and no longer T3), it becomes quite a walk (10mins) to the D-gates.
This being said, the airport is very easily reachable by train (Regional and Leonardo Express), Fast Lane at T1 (Alitalia) was indeed very fast, and the Star Alliance lounge at the airport is very comfortable, with a good drinks service.

Undergoing renovation, but the bagage pick up is now split in two. Very bad signage and very unclear what direction you need to take. Lots of other passengers ended up at the wrong bagage pick up, and there was no way to go back to the other side.

If you have access to the Alitalia lounge, well worth the visit. Great food in a relaxing environment.

While Fiumicino is claiming to have won the best airport in Europe vote, I can not really imagine how... I fly from FCO at least 2x a month and majority of flight always leaves late, toilets are dirty and compared to other airports there is no choice of food except for bad pizza and panini. It is not an ugly airport but the service is poor.

Generally OK airport. No complaints other than rather than having to buy bottled water I would like to see a bottle filling station like they become common in many other airports. Hence only 3 stars for facilities.

Have not been to FCO for some time, there are some improvements but free WiFi is a joke.
Food and coffee shops could also be better, considering this is Italy, the level is not representative...

L'aeroporto e bello. Tutte luci. Ma, come al solito, c'e sempre qualche cosa che non funziona. Questa volta dei tornelli per i controlli automatici dei passaporti per i viaggiatori EU ne funzionavano soltanto tre (gli altri erano in manutenzione) con la conseguenza di una interminabile coda.

One of the best airports in Europe. Of course It's not like CDG or LHR but It's hard to deny that It's improving, unlike the city of Rome itself (sadly!) .
They always improve and build something new.
Toilets are modern and very efficient.
