This is the first time I flied with Cathay Pacific. The first impression of Cathay Pacific is excellent, always getting very high honor in Airline Rankings. The comprehensive experience is pleasant and worth selecting Cathay Pacific in the next time.
The boarding procedure started at 00:00 with business and premium economy classes first. The procedure was fast with this flight (blocking time took place just ten minutes after the scheduled departure time). Therefore, the flight was arrived punctually, even earlier than the scheduled arrival time.
There were two meals (dinner and breakfast) during the journey. The dinner I selected was Steamed Pork Rice with Shi O Plum was not genuinely fresh. There was quite a difference between the expectation and the reality. However, the Movenpick ice cream was still in an excellent quality.
However, the inflight entertainment was a little old. The personal screen was comparatively portable. The movie player can?t slide freely. Despite the old entertainment system, the movies and songs have been up to date. Also, the crew were all friendly and helpful.

Check-in at Taoyuan airport by the Cathay Pacific team was fantastic, we had two seoarate award tickets TPE-HKG-FRA and the check-in agent combined it to one ticket !

The 777s are aging and need to be replaced or overhauled, although they are clean and in decent condition for the most part (lavatories really need to be upgraded). The IFE was as good as most competitors, but might run thin for long flights like this one (almost 16 hours). My biggest disappointment was Economy food and beverage. The food was very sub-par, and they usually ran out of the more desirable options before they got to half the passengers, so twice I had to eat whatever was left, which was sad and almost not edible. There's a LONG wait between the two food services, but they make snacks and beverages available throughout the flight, including on-demand noodle soup (though they don't advertise this verbally--you have to read the card). Cathay should be as good as, or nearly as good as, Emirates or Qatar or Singapore, but they're much closer to Air China or other Chinese carriers IMO.

Very happy with this airline! Very helpful and friendly cabin crew who are always at your service for literally almost anything you need, trying their best to make your flight as comfortable as possible. W good selection of food and drink onboard and a very good in flight entertainment system makes the 12 hour journey from Johannesburg to HK really great!

Boarding was smooth although the line was quite long. The crew was very friendly and kind when serving us.The in-flight entertainment was extraordinary. Definitely the best airline in the world.

Although I've only flown with them on one trip (to Australia and back) I will say that Cathay Pacific appear to be a friendly, welcoming airline. Customer Service is clearly a high priority at Cathay, and their cabin crew were excellent at their delivery of Customer Service. Plenty of in-flight entertainment on the personal in-flight entertainment screens and the food was decent. No Wi-Fi, however.

This is the best airline I have ever been on. Everyone who works with Cathay Pacific has excellent english speaking skills with almost no accent. The lounges at HKG are fantastic with modern design and amazing views of the tarmac. The food isn't always good.

The flight was delayed for 12 hours due technical problem but the ground staff did not have a good handling for it. Also, as CX is an premium airline, the compensation is not enough as they were just offering a night of hotel for us. The reason why I think the compensation was not enough is I have compared some other airlines, they would offer other compensations such as cash and meal vouchers for passengers. It would bring the best experience for me if ground staff were handling better.

Cathay Dragon is the most unprofessional airline I have flown.. So far I've flown 4 times with them.. 2 of my flights were cancelled, 1 delayed for almost 3 hours and one of my bags were trashed by them

The plane leaving JNB was filthy, the seat was dirty and still had food left on the tray. Staff were not interested and did not assist.

Got delayed 25 minutes (which is acceptable). The meal taste really bad (fortunately still like edible). The Studio CX is really great and lots of new movies. Crews are average but most of the time did not call them so not a problem for me.

Superb flight. The crew couldn't do enough for you. The business class seats are very comfortable and private - you really do feel like you are relaxing in your living room at home. Food was excellent and service out of this world.

Cathay Pacific has some of the nicest and cleanest planes that I've ever seen. The seats give you plenty of room and the IFE works spectacularly good. The meals are delicious and the crew is always kind and welcoming. I look forward to my next flight with CX.

Great airline, always fly it when i need to go to London. This premium economy seat is good as it is wide, come with lots of legroom and has a legrest. However, if you are able to try and get the bulkhead seat (e.g 39A) which has an electric footrest. Apart from that great service and a pleasant flight!

Seat was excellent - very comfortable however the aisle center seats have very little foot/leg room in flat bed mode which made sleeping uncomfortable. Therefore suggest the window seats which have more room in this area.

The onboard service was ok but not memorable in any way - the cabin crew, whist efficient, lacked warmth, engagement and joy - a massive contrast to my recent Qatar flight.

The Incheon-Hong Kong sector was quite good unlike the Mumbai-Hong Kong sector. The flight actually landed ahead of time.

Even the flight attendants seemed a bit more cheerful.

I was travelling with my daughter, so there was enough entertainment to keep her occupied for the 4-hour journey.

Another delay again! Reasons of delays were unknown but all were nothing to do with the most infamous PRC air traffic control. First two delays were from HKG to TPE and the next two were related to KUL.
4th delay within one month! Delay Pacific Airways rocks!

Horrible business class service, no preflight drinks served, no menu, no meal choice! And meal quality was even worse than Sri lanka's Y meal!!!
The fishbone seats were so old and tired, TV often dropped out automatically (and also the tray table) especially during take off and landing.

It was my second flight on board of Cathy Pacific. Te crew was extremely nice and helpful. Barding was quick and without any hassle but it happened for the second time. It means I wasn't offered a hot drink for the second time in a row. As if the cabin crew run out of all hot drinks just before my/my row and did not get back to me. I don't mind being left without a drink, it's not all what flying is about, but they simply left some people without service. And it happened to me twice.
Otherwise I would recommend flying with CP.

The only bad thing about traveling with Cathay Pacific are the seats. You can't make it comfortable to sleep. The back is always in upright position. All the rest is almost perfect.

The food is very good, authentic Chinese beef, I also appreciated Haagen Dazs ice cream.

I would recommend to Cathay Pacific to sell onboard more toys for children, especially Lego sets.
