In one word - awful. Avoid this airline at any cost. Everything, absolutely everything, starting from ground service, to problem solving and ending in comfort - was terrible

while UA has a great long-haul coach product, their trans-con domestic product is really lacking. only one drink service with a bag of peanuts, no IFE, and it was evening, so I was tired but unable to sleep. that last part is't really UA's fault, but would NOT look forward to a trans-con with UA (if it's a 737/a320) P.S. I am aware that there is an app for IFE, but they need to do a better job advertising that

sorry to say, but this was my first time to trial United's Polaris service and it is not proper business class in my opinion. The seats are flat but very uncomfortable...I was comparing to BA/AA and while the price was quite a bit cheaper, I paid for it with a lack of sleep and comfort. It is also very crowded and the seats are really crammed together. The flight attendants were lovely, which was the only saving grace with Polaris

After the everlasting delay, we finally got called into the airplane. We were greeted by a tall male flight attendant with mean brows (either it's genetics or he's always angry) and a flight attendant sitting on the gallery's counter texting on her phone. Both of the flight attendants greeted us nor apologized for the delay.
Because of the 20 minutes delay in the middle of the taxiway, I couldn't hold my bladder any longer so I rushed back to the lavatory to do my number 1. Since I was the first person of the flight to use the lavatory, I expected it to smell heavenly and a full bottle of soap. But no, there is still a huge load of soft feces unfleshed in the toilet. Immediately, I went to the lavatory next door. The asian flight attendant who was sitting diagonally apologized and smiled and moved to the opposite diagonal direction to the jump seat. The tall male flight attendant, right in front of the door, REFUSES to move. Since I don't want to make a fuss and be the next topic of CNN, I politely opened the door and do my business. The lavatory was filthy with trash full of paper towels filled to the rim. It was horrendous! I was grateful that I was doing number 1 and walked back to my seat.
There was no back-seat TV. Although, they offered IFE through mobile devices via United WiFi. It was a pain of my neck to watch because it drains my phone battery fast and my screen is small. Did I mention there was no power outlets to charge my phone?
The positive thing from this experience would be the complimentary biscuits and a tiny cup of drinks (smaller than Delta). The landing was real smooth (Shoutout to the pilots) and the Asian flight attendant was extremely friendly and nice.

You?d have to go to spirit or Ryan air to get any worse. Horrible seating policy, and a total cash grab. Just book JetBlue and loose a couple of bucks. Not worth money saved.

The flight crew was amazing! I don?t think I have ever had a better flight. They even let me go into the cockpit when we landed in Houston! You will get attentive service, and enjoy the flight! Try and be in the first 2 rows so you get first pick on meals.

Flown over 1.5 million miles on United from the U.S. to Europe, South America, Australia, Asia and all over the U.S. While once in a while the experience on United has not been the greatest I would say after 30 years flying them the are one of the best and have repeatedly earned my business. Thank you United.

First charged me for bags within my allowance, then didn't put any of our bags on the plane, then constantly gave false information about when the bags would be delivered. Eventually delivered several hours after promised very late at night. That was after incredibly rude flight attendants and ridiculous attitude on board. Will avoid United where possible in future.

Unable to check-in until four hours before flight due to me not having a checked bag. In the mobile app they provide early checkin but not for people who only have a carry on.

Transcon flights in premium markets seem to offer a constant stream of services in economy, which is nice. No complaints about the multiple drink services, although it can take a while before you're served the first one if you're all the way in the back of a large plane!

The ability to check in without checking in a bag is NOT cool, you need to still goto main check-in if you do not have a bag to check. Kinda defeats the whole idea of offering an early check-in.

A bit below par service for premium economy, but a fairly comfortable seat and very good IFE. The boarding arrangement at EWR was rather chaotic with two busy flights at adjacent gates and no room to wait.

Despite United's bad reputation, I found that my flight in United's new Polaris Business class from Frankfurt to Chicago to be perfect! Boarding was very organized. The flight crew were very kind, and were always helping passengers. The food was amazing, and you can't go wrong with a ice cream sundae service for dessert. The entertainment system has so many options. This was definitely a 5-star experience for me.

A bit disappointing, Avianca, the competition in the Bogota-New York route is way better, they fly to JFK and not to Newark, they have many more flights, all of them are operated by new a330-200/300 and 787-8/9 rather than the aging 737-700 that United uses which just can't keep up to the competition. Will fly Avianca next time I go up to NYC, United disappointed me

Flight was delayed by 3+ hours as plane was delayed in Chicago snowstorm (in April?) as it flew to Seattle then Denver. Arrived at MCI at 0200 exactly. Crew and plane were great, but scheduling was unfortunate.

Plane sat at gate for max time to avoid fine (1 h 59 min), then pulled onto tarmac for 1 h and went back to gate - v little info on apparent technical problem, filching crew got on plane late, all suggests airline new plane could not fly and played around to avoid fine and passenger compensation. Eventually flew to LAX, as SNA shuts at 23.00.

This plane was too cramped for a 5 hour flight - United needs to give extra space for longer flights. UA only had a total of 6 dinner sandwiches to sell for the entire main cabin and the crew said that was typical. Why promote something to everyone that you don't have enough for more than one full row!

Worst. Flight. Ever. United has managed to downgrade flight experience so even below RyanAir standards. Yes, we are guilty of choosing the cheapest flight options at United, but we did not realise that there was no way to change seating arrangements at check-in. So we ended up at row 41, which is the last row in a 767, against the toilets. Seats could not recline and I was constantly disturbed by people going to or from the toilet bumping against my shoulder. Worst were the flight attendants who managed to constantly run into me.

Configuration of business class seats in this particular plane (B777-300ER) is terrible. 4 seats are next to each other in the middle block and our seats were facing back of the plane.

VERY SLOW BAGGAGE DELIVERY BY CONTRACTED STAFF AT TORONTO (35 mins for first bag with no announcement as to why). Also, ground crew was not in place even though our early arrival was known at least 1 hour out.

Business Class (Intercontinental) is a better Premium Eco, as you will have 4 seats in the middle. Its a 180 degree flat seat, but very narrow. Sleeping is possible after several glass of wine

1. Boarding/Deplaning was efficient and the flight was on-time.
2. The food was subpar, but given that the roundtrip ticket from Singapore to San Francisco was only S$1072 ($784), I guess that's expected.
3. It was impossible for me to sleep on the flight as the seat was hard and uncomfortable. My back hurt by the end of the flight.

The poorest experience of an Airline I ever had, after a delay of 3 hours we missed our Connection flight and had to be rebooked for the next day. After 3 hours of waiting in the Customer Services Queue we were not even offered vouchers for Food our Hotel. So we spent 200$ on our own expenses! Crew at Customer Services were rude and not very helpful. They didn't know anything!
