WiFi always bad. Food options okay but not much choice after security. Usually a long line at immigration (30-60 minutes wait).

El Dorado it's a nice and modern airport, one of the most important conections in south america, good food services. A little long walks to the gates, but it's ok. Take care when arriving from the city because traffic is terrible in Avenida El Dorado (calle 26)

Traffic in Bogota is a b*tch, public transportation is really bad too so go to the airport with anticipation. The airport itself is really nice, new, clean and efficient.

It is a pity shame that all this structural beauty of the new airport is tarnished by the inefficiency in the delivery of luggage (very slow) and by the sad show at the exit customs (rows without order, staff inattentive, disorder, no one to tell you What you should do and other things)

Newly renovated national airport. Getting there is basically via car/bus only so that's a bummer as public transit doesn't take you all the way as far as I remember. Wifi is present but not great. Main terminal has lots of shops, though uninspired. The food court in both INTL/Dom is pretty weak though. Puente Aereo (the alternate terminal) actually has a more local feel to their food court and has more options plus a couple nice little bars to sit in.

The airport succeeds in it's open feel, sleek design and customs. Getting in to the country can be a BIT slow, though it always seems to be faster for foreigners, but getting out of the country is a breeze.

Well, It's okay, not like the big deal but you can see huge planes in the gates and the facilities are okay, nothing too special but they make a great work with new works to the terminal, damn this shit tell me that my review is too short so let me tell you a story: Hi.

In the international dock exit you find the tourist information point, there really good address for your stay in Bogota

Avianca's domestic VIP lounge is a complete disgrace: crowded, dirty, subpar food and drink choice (or no choice at all), noisy, no charging plugs, no bathrooms, badly maintained. For some reason people use it, but it is much more comfortable to wait near your gate.

Hi Bogota Eldorado what a change and modern against some 4 5 years ago not yet 100 % finished but super modern and beautiful with european look i used this airport as yump to Medellin and to europe many times more than 10 .
good wifi modern shops etc security is the same and respect for the passengers even more they find out you are ex or retired militairy or still in service .
Some countries can learn from that!

Aviancas VIP Lounge for domestic flights is a joke, is dirty, is crowded, is not well maintained and food selection is scarce (that is when there is food at all!). There are no dedicated bathrooms for the lounge. Chairs are uncomfortable.

Cozy and huge, it really has the face of an truly international gateway and major connecting point between North, Central and South America along with the Caribbean and Europe. Immigration and customs was very fast (first time i use an airport were you get and fill the customs application while waiting for the bags to come, i think it is a good idea). There is a currency store is before customs, also had never seen that before, but if you go to the Domestic Terminal there is another currency store with better rates. There are lots of taxis and some buses, the most important are the BRT Transmilenio feeder line 14.16, connecting to Transmilenio El Dorado Terminal 1,5 km away, and the P500 line that goes to Centro Comercial Andino, in the Zona Rosa.

The new airport is amazing and so much bigger than the old one with a good end efficient service from all airlines, the people is very nice with you and the new building is beautiful inside and outside, no problems with baggage claim and good customs service.

The new airport terminal is good, but the ruins/construction is not done yet (Feb2014). There is free wifi and various duty free options in the international terminal. There are international shops and they accept US$ as well as Colombian$.
