Pretty interactive, the personal in the airport is alway pending if you need something or offering you great promotions and things to do for your stay in the city, taxi cabs pretty cleans and comfortables, the mexican use to be pretty polite, but we know that maybe this is cause we are the tourist jajaja

La termnal 1 es la menos completa, con un olor extrano, pocos restaurantes (ni siquiera un Starbucks) pero las tiendas nada mal.

Mucha gente en espacio pequeno. Debido a la epoca muchos turistas de USA llenaron el aeropuerto. La ubicacion del mismo no es mala, bastante cerca de la zona hotelera y el centro de Cancun. Informacion en monitores correcta.

Very interesting airport. It looks very small but once you get in you feel like you are in 100 wear houses combined

It was easy to get to the airport from the Beachscape Kin Ha using Super Shuttle. The shuttle came 10 minutes late though. The airport had a tremendous line for all US bound passengers - checking in through United. Since the passport reader could not read from my faulty passport (thanks to MEA of India), all the data had to be entered manually. Bad experience!

Customs police seem to be unfamiliar with smartphones. They think they're cameras and that you're taking pictures of the airport with them... wifi also didn't work for me even after I paid for it.

Cero ayuda si necesitas pasar un medicamento de mas de 100 ml. (?solo con receta!).
Los de seguridad vieron mi pase de abordar que decia: 15:00 horas que era la hora en la que nos iban a dar sala y lo entendieron como la hora de salida.

Landed in CUN after a 10 hour flight, Immigration was okay but took a while to get through to baggage claim.n Baggage claim was absolutely terrible no A/C in 30 degree heat and 70% humidity. Conveyor belt broke down THREE TIMES, the ground crew didn't care and was very slow, overall it took us an hour and a half to get our bags. Scanning baggage was good not much to say about it. When u get through that you will see lots of con men saying that they are from your travel company only to steal your bags. Only trust the guys with your travel company logo such as Thomas Cook and Thomson. An airport I'm happy to leave behind

I don't know if it's just me but standing in a queue for an hour after departing an eleven hour flight is frustrating. Security is tight and you have to scan your luggage as you leave the airport. allegedly for smuggling. Overall an airport I'm glad to leave.

This rating is based on the arrival at Cancun. It might be different when departing there. I'll write a second rating next week when I have to go home.
First of all our plane was delayed for over two hours. So this rating might even be a little worse than it has to be.
If you arrive at Cancun, you first have to walk to the Immigration Department. There you need to queue up and wait till it's your turn. For about 350 people that arrived with our plane, we only had 5 people doing all the immigration stuff. This meant waiting for about 30 minutes.
After this, you go to the belt for picking up your luggage, Although I had already waited for 30 minutes at the Immigration Department, our luggage belt was not running yet. Until I had my luggage it took me another 20-30 minutes.
Then the next stop is at the customs. There you have the next queue because they xray all your luggage once more. They had 3 xray-machines runnig but only one place where you can leave your customs declaration and test your luck.
Testing your luck means that you have to push a button when you give them your customs declaration. There are to possibilities. Either the light turns green and you may pass to the tour operators or your light turns red and your baggage will once more inspected by hand. Of course for this check they did not have enough staff so the unlucky people had to wait even longer.
At this station i was finally lucky and was allowed to pass to my tour operator. It took me over an hour to get here. Inside the terminal there was no chance for buying any drinks or something like that. You arrive at Cancun afte 11 hours of flight (and 3.5 hours delay at departure) and then you have this torture.
I was lucky when I arrived at my hotel room at around midnight. I had been travelling for around 28 hours then.

Baggage took one hour and a half to be delivered after our flight, supposedly because of a drugs inspection done bag-by-bag by dogs (and as explained by a policeman, only for flights comming from Latin America... what is that supposed to mean, Mexico?).
Very rude personnel at customs check after arrival, which insulted me and my wife because I was to wait for her after I passed the green light.
Expensive transportation and taxi/shuttle staff not willing to talk to spanish speaking tourists.
No free wifi available.

Aeropuerto de risa, tienen un semaforo que tu accionas con el dedo y si se pone en rojo te revisan el equipaje, hay que pagar 25? para salir del pais en concepto....x.... A un senor en una mesa plegable antes de embarcar, impuesto de salida del estado de Quintana Roo.

Airport started waking up only after 6.30 am. AA did not have something as basic as fragile labels to append onto checked in luggage neither do they have a lounge for business class pax.

Very EXPENSIVE!!! No seats before security control. I was waiting 3 hours sitting on the flor. No wifi.

Utter caos in arrivals/baggae claim took our party 2 hours from getting off the aircraft to boarding the coach to our hotel all baggage must be x-rayed before exiting causing long delays and plenty of friction.

Clearing customs is a mess, long lines and on top of that they scan and check your bags before you leave the airport? Took two hours off the plane, through customs and onto the bus.
