Good airport. Lots of transport links. Wifi works fast, loads of shops. Paspoort check could use some automatic gates, so you dont get stuk behind people that dont speak any english/german.

The Nonschengen area in Terminal A is mega bad, waiting time at the exit control of 15-20min, In nonschengen area also missing any signage for arriving passengers in area B, there are only the gates in area signposted.

avoid in any cases - immiegration and security is a big zoo! chaotic and takes ages, even for business class. Lounges are not worth to visit, better have dinner outside of lounge.

It's a nice looking airport, but not very comfortable... especially if you're going to be spending the night here!
The free wifi is very, very bad. If you live in the EU, just take advantage of the free roaming and use your own mobile internet.

This airport is really modern and not too big. It has a lot of services outside for everybody to use and also a lot of services inside after the security check. It is easy to navigate in and the skytrain that takes you to the train station from the terminals is a top notch!

I like DUS, you can easily get to the airport from Dusseldorf main station via the train and then continue with the SkyTrain. What is bad you get only 30 minutes Wi-Fi, but I survived it :-)

Dusseldorf is for my opinion the best airport in Germany. You can easily get to the airport from Dusseldorf main station via the train or S-Bahn and with the SkyTrain. Also buses are available. There are many shops and restaurants in the airside but also in the check-in area. You get 30 minutes of free WiFi which is enough for my opinion. The airport is overall very clean, modern as well as up to date. The immigration and as well as the security checks are very fast as also the staff is very professional and kind. Furthermore it offers many destinations as the third biggest airport in Germany and therefore has got a high importance for the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Surely is my most favourite airport as it also is my hometown airport.

wifi free only for one hour and it counts not time you are logged in but one hour from when you first log in then you have to pay - I wanted but it just did not work. It was really cold in one of the terminals. No possibility to get from GATE C to other GATEs. We were not allowed to take alcohol that was bought in Cuba duty free at the airport with us. They asked as at the check to leave it there.

Baggage claim was terrible. We have to wait a lot of time before the claim started and it takes a lot of time for the complete process. This was the second time of this expierence. The manager must have a look to other airports. It goes much quicker.

The airport staff here is rather unfriendly unfortunately. This shows again and again that having one of the best infrastructural setups still don't matter if the people are not friendly. And yes, not an isolated experience. Experienced it too many times in DUS.

The flight was quite relaxed. SunExpress is ok to just travel. I couldn't eat because there were no sandwiches left without lactose... Everything has a price when you fligh budget.
At least, SunExpress could buy some new seats and other parts inside the cabine and toilets.

Went to Dusseldorf from the Netherlands by train. It was a bit of a puzzle to find out how to arrive at the terminal.
Dusseldorf International is a pretty decent airport, clean and well organised. Not so much shops though.

Dusseldort does have some nice treats, but overall it certainly lacks in food parlours. You can do great clothes shopping here, but getting a decent breakfast after security is difficult. The price ratio between food (decent) and drinks/beverages (excessive) is strange as well. Security however is always extra nice, they're doing a good job in my opinion. One last thought: The SkyTrain is inconvenient for a smaller airport. Should have built a tunnel for the trains instead. That way you always loose a lot of time.

Looks very outdated in some 80s industrial design. Concourse are narrow and it gets packed with people waiting on gates. The check-in area was better, though. Wi-Fi was missing, there was a 30 minutes free hot-spot from Vodafone that wasn't working.

It is my most loved airport and my homebase if you want to call it that. I genuinely love the sky train, the multiple possibilities for public transport and the way the airport is shaped.

The facilities are very clean and well kept.

Depending from which gate you fly, security can be swift or a hot mess. You definitely want to check which flights are scheduled to depart around your flight and then plan accordingly.

As always on Monday morning - Security absolutely crowded (at least Terminal A). As I know this I plan some more time on Mondays. Still don't know why DUS isn't planning more staff at those days.
But as always, the people are friendly and all the rest is pretty good,
Oh, except WiFi. That needs to be improved with coverage and at least half an hour or so for free.

Moderner Flughafen, allerdings nachts schlecht mit dem OPNV zu erreichen, vor allem, wenn die Bahn streikt. Betriebszeiten der Dusseldorfer Rheinbahn beginnt erst gegen 5 Uhr morgens.
Preise fur Speisen und Getranke stark uberzogen, eine kleine Tasse Kaffee gibt es erst ab circa 3,00-3,50 Euro.

Getting to the airport is easy if you're from the area. You got two train stations (one connected via Sky Train) and plenty of busses that frequent the airport.

Airport and facilities VERY clean and well attended to. Always love a good Starbucks before I fly, so that's nice. There is a McDonalds in the lower level of the Terminal which I frequent often at various flight occasions and it's very clean and well-managed as well.

Security is well executed but still swift. I was pulled aside for a secondary check and it never felt weird or uncomfortable which I can only highlight :)

Excellent transport from and to airport, well marked. Terminal facilities rich. WiFi is slow, you have to pay for anything better from crawling. Excellent and wide variety of food and drinks. Lots of shops. Lounge could be bit better. Customs fast as possible. Sometimes slow due to suspicious immigrants. Baggage claim fast and never had any problem with it. Often traveling to this airport.

Getting to and fro from the airport is easy with the excellent train connections to Dusseldorf city as well as other cities in Germany and even other countries!

The terminal is small and is easy to get to gates from security. Only used the Schengen facilities so don't know about immigration. WiFi is fast but limited to 30 minutes! Could use more places to eat but if you're taking a Schengen flight you don't need to spend much time at the airport anyway.

Strangely distributed terminal at least what comes to B gates, but everything worked well. Not too much information at the gates however. Getting to the airport with train is difficult as the sky train is out of traffic. Taxi or shuttle bus is to be recommended, even though there is a shuttle bus between the airport and the train station, but it is still not convenient. Free WiFi but only for 30 minutes, minus! Today's airports should provide free WiFi for traveling people, as everyone wants to be connected.

Very slow security check. The screeners seemed not to be interested in doing their job. The lounge (Lufthansa Business Lounge) is OK, but there is not much a choice of food. Getting there is easy by train and sky train.

Yeah well dusseldorf airport, this airport got enough restaurants, cafes and shops, so everything you need. but the employees are not friendly and seems bored. after that, in the airport it's not very good indicate where you need to be or for example where te toilets are. the transportation to the airport is very good. there are a lots of busses, taxis and even a airtrain,

The airport itself was nothing special but ok. Sometimes, the staff was a little rude but normally they were friendly. If you are hungry and are travelling via Terminal B (Air Berlin, etc.), than you will not have a great choise. There is just one restaurant were they sell sandwiches or two sausages with a toast. That is it. There is no free WiFi either. If you have to wait for your flight in Terminal B and you would like to sleep, there is a nice and quiet spot with the panorama of the runway near the boarder control (nearby the shops).

The Dusseldorf airport is one of the best. Short walks to the gate, very clean and the staff are very friendly. The visitors terrace is fantastic.
The dispatching after landing goes pretty quickly. After I moved from Hamburg my luggage was there within a few minutes. I can only recommend the Dusseldorf airport, the there, the CHECK-in is very easy and fast. And take off one convenient device holiday

A nice and enjoyable flight. I was surprised to fly on a Oneworld logojet which furthermore was equiped with the new Skyinterior. The seats where comfortable and the onboard service was great. I was offered a tasty chesese sandwich. We also had a nice view on the Pyrenees
