There are dozens of security checks inside airport. And you should throw away coffee or water you have just purchased in the airport. Insane!

Plus too complicated navigation inside the airport.

T3 is relatively new, on arrival there is often a long walk to immigration and the business visa on arrival is a great idea, but why do we need to queue twice? The facilities are good and the WiFi is free. All in all, its a nice airport. Getting to/from the airpor is another matter though. Jakarta traffic!

T3 is a Horrible Terminal, Far too Large and you have to walk Miles !!!! Courtesy Golf carts are on offer as it is that large . . If you are young and fit then fine, if you are older or have any mobility problems then you will hate this place

Terminal 3 in Jakarta is awful, such a huge terminal with the longest walk i have ever done in an airport
a handful of walkways and a huge huge walk, crappy !!!

Terminal 3 (Ultimate) is too large given the facilties (few travelators). From security check to the(most distant) domestic gate is 1,000 m. Travelators are sparse, so a 20-25 minute march ...
On arrival luggage belts are als a good 500-1,000 m walk ... and slow to produce the luggage. Count on 40-60 inutes waits.

New Terminal 3 is fairly good once the initial problems have been ironed out. Gotten an aerobridge more often now with better ventilation. Passenger pick up areas using private cars still not as good as other international airports.

I used T3. This airport is so clean, big, comfortable. A lot of seats with different type. There are always airport helper everywhere. The toilet is always kept clean with the janitor available everytime. The food now has been more than before. One think i love ia I can see the plane take off landing taxiing. What a nice view! The wifi is extremely fast. You only need to pay like 50 cents for 1 hr. Its enough for waiting to board.

CGK is an old airport that seriously is in need of some upgrading. Mother only saving grace is that they have a special channel for first and business class passengers that takes one straight into the lounge through special immigration and security channels.

On the outward journey i was quite impressed, Staff guided us to the lounge and transfer terminals, Great service.

On the return flight it was 3rd world. No useful assistance, I was pointed to a desk to pay for a visa, I was in transit. There was a sign the the visa was free for some nationality's. the staff on the counter did not speak any English and could only say 35 dollar. i pointed to the sign and to my passport and was given a blank look. Then aok a lot of other travelers paid for a visa when they shouldn't have to. Moving on to the transfer desk i had to pay 40000RP airport tax to get a duplicate boarding pass. Not impressed!

This airport is too crowded! if you want to go to airport, you will need to go to airport at least 5 hours before it's flight because the traffic around airport is crazy. the terminal facilities is quite good since they have some revitalization in it. the wifi are poor, but they have many food services there. the baggage claim also poor like a market. SHIA is also very hot especially in terminal 1 and 2. they need huge renovation I think.

This airport needs a fix to make it equals with Changi or KLIA. We need more entertainment and shoping arcade in this airport.

It was annoying that it's still diffucult to find shuttle for moving from one terminal to the others.

Very busy airport. New terminal depature and arrival for garuda indonesia. Good securty check in. Good desain of terminal and lounge. Good facilities, but wifi speed Connection is average. Overall, this is a big and good airport in indonesia

Crowded. need a long time to meet my lovely baggage. need improvement in passenger baggage-making process that is not too long. baggage is not checked properly by officers when out, so there is likely to be confused. even so, it's one of the quite good airports.

The fastest way to go to this airport only when 3-6 AM and 10 PM.
If you want to go to this airport when rainy season and in the middle of office hour, you better move faster 2 - 3 hours before check in close since you will get stuck in jakarta traffic.

the airport isn't far from the city but it takes about 50 minutes from the city center, more if it's a bad day with traffic jam. You can use the taxi that is cheap or better the public bus even if it will be harder to reach the final destination from the airport. The airport is huge and be careful to go straight to the right terminal. this airport is one of the busiest in Asia,so it's easy to get stuck in some long queue. I really didn't like the wifi that it disconnects you automatically every 20- 30 minutes.. and so slowly.

The airport is being renovated, hopefully the service will be increased after the renovation is finished. However the service now is quite adequate, maybe it need improvement on check in service area to minimize the queue

Overcrowded, international terminal design great. Ease of access with signs etc, Great ,free (and fast) wifi offered. Immigration and customs processing quick and efficient. Good variety of stores and outlets but not much was open.
