Bit weird that no one from the staff cared about the baggage claim process. Lots of children almost jumping on the tape completely unattended.

Extremely unfriendly female member of the security staff, treating the passengers as if they were idiots.
Artificial nails are by far not enough to make someone a lady.

If you don't have a car the access to the airport is a bit complicated and expensive if you decide to go by taxi. The check-in is precise but the queue goes really fast there. There is no wi-fi or it didn't work when I was there. It is better to take some food with you from home than to buy on the airport because it is really expensive, especially coffee.

Beautiful terminals, friendly staff :) It's my best airport in Poalnd! :) Nice parkings, quick check-in, boarding etc. :) Working Wi-Fi :) I recommend this airport for you! :)

Security check was absolute disaster. It took us an hour (!!!) to go through. Our flight was delayed for 30 minutes because half of a plane was not at the gate on time because of the security check - probably new security officers, some of them worked only with assistance of other officers. Veeeery slow and veeeery stressful!

The airport has significantly improved since my last visit, Terminal A has been modernised and the departures hall was extended. A new runway has been opened as well as terminal C.

Small and crowdy Airport. Security spersonnel creates much chaos during control. 3 persons controlled at one gate at the same time. I've been separated from my belongings and had to wait AFTER control to collect my bag, because before my bag had been scanned, control of another 2 persons had started (!). When I told to security guy that they create chaos, he told me that that is what security check is about. I haven't seen that anywhere in the world.

Lotnisko polozone na uboczu aglomeracji, wylot byl jeszcze ze starego terminalu, gdzie panowal tlok przy boardingu i bylo niezbyt czysto, w nowym jest zapewne lepiej. Plus za sprawna obsluge, nie oceniam takich rzeczy jak jedzenie czy Wi-Fi, bo przez wypadek na autostradzie praktycznie wbieglem do samolotu.

One of the worst airports in Europe...

No free WIFI, super long queue to the customs...

Special offer of paying money to get customs at supposingly shorter queue...

Very crowded and unconvienient...

And the transport to/from the airport super bad and expensive if you don't have a car...

No free wifi...

Super long lines to the security control

One has to pay for the parking even if comes for 5 min.

Getting to the airport is not the cheapest as well. From the centre of Katowice runs a bus which is pretty expensive (if more persons are travelling it is better to take a cab)

Ochrona ktora jak zwykle ma z wszystkim problem. Przeszkadzaja nie domykajace sie woreczki strunowe itp. Zamkniete toalety w sali wylotow. Reszta ok. Ceny na wolnoclowce to jakis absurd. .......

Niegrzeczna obsluga. Obrazona Pani juz z ruchomych schodow wrzeszczy na ludzi aby sie odsuneli bez slowa dzien dobry czy prosze, dziekuje. Mina jakby jej ktos z pasazerow jakas krzywde zrobil. Obsluga strasznie czepliwa i arogancka. Nie moglem skorzystac z Privilege Pass. Pan przy boarding - gate nawet nie slyszal o takiej usludze, co sam z rozbrajajaca szczeroscia powiedzial.

The aiport is very basic but extremely nice and compact. The price level is very affordable. Note that it is quite far from the city of Katowice.

The worst airport in East Europe. You must pay even if you would like to leave passenger in the airport area! If you have possibility to flight from another airport DO IT!

Excellent Airport, the only I haven't everly suffered from any weather problems, for example fog etc that especially this year stumble upon other polish airports and cause divertions (mainly to KTW). Airport is clean, modern, and cosy.

Veldig grei lufthavn med god effektivitet. Bra med skilting, sa det var lett a finne frem. Jeg skjonte dog ikke hvorfor vi tok bussen 10 meter fra utgangen til bussen!

jedyne lotnisko w PL, gdzie wjezdzajac na teren ma sie tylko 5 minut darmowego postoju. Wszystkie pozostale maja przynajmniej 10 minut. Pachnie mi to zmowa z lotniskowymi taxi.
