KLIA is a very well designed airport, I found it spotlessly clean and good line of sight signs. International arrivals is a croos shape making it easy to find where you want to go. The airports has many shops where almost everything can be bought.

Immigration service was fast. But one thing I'm quite bothered was the security of baggage claim. Noone checked one who picked the bag.

Worst of many airports I have been to, specially incase you are flying a connection on variant airlines, you will have to go and find the transfer counter yourself to make it to your flight on time.

Disappointingly crowded. Needed to take rail transfer to satellite concourse. Tansfer and terminal very crowded and unpleasant. Excellent and very friendly staff at information booth. Lounge offered by Malindo Air for Business class pax is the Sama Sama lounge which is below standard. Very dark, crowded, no windows and unpleasant. Staff at airport was overall typical Malaysian: very friendly and nice.

I was pleasantly surprised with my experience at KLIA, way better than my experience last year. The express train is the easiest way to get to center of KL. Check and immigration was a breeze. The terminal along side with the wifi were good. But, there could have been a bit more places to eat at.
I did visit the Singapore Airlines lounge in KUL. Honestly the lounge was a huge disappointment, mediocre food selection, lack of seating, in general a less than mediocre lounge.

Immigration at KLIA-2 is terrible. Long waiting times 30 to 40mins , half the booths not manned and lots of passengers.

Getting to airport will recommend bus at kl sentral rather than ets train if u travel solo. The airport terminal (klia2) is big. Make sure at least arrive 3 hours. Plenty of choice of food and cafe.

Landed in klia2. Basically,if u arrived at pier k for domestic flight, be prepared yourself to walking from aircraft to baggage reclaimed. Totally ridiculous design of airport.

Immigration for non- Malaysians is a nightmare. They have very few staff on and the queues were horrendous when we arrived. No attempt to speed it up by adding more staff who were just milling about!

Not at all organized. A lot of people were trying to skip the line at passport control and the police didn't pay attention to it. A girl who was standing behind my husband made suspicious movements towards his backpack. However, taxi service is easy to use and not too expensive.

We had to walk a long distance to clear arrival immigration and claim baggage. The queue for arrival immigration was also long and took at least 30 minutes.

The airport was okay, but loses out to other airports in Asia like Singapore and Hong Kong. We only knew of the check-in row for our airline at the terminal, and immigration lines were long. There were also not many facilities available for us to use.

KLIA is generally prety good - unless your departure is concourse L.
There is no lounge (unless you hold a Malaysian Visa card and a complicated list of other things that I did not have). The seats are hard and there is little in the way of amenity.
Avoid concourse L or delay your arrival there as long as possible.
Oh and the free Wifi did not work.

I was a transit passengers at this airport and based on my experience, there are variety of restaurants in the airside area. Besides, there are also mini theater available located at Satellite Terminal and is available to all passengers.
As I had plenty of time at KLIA, I took a chance to explore a bit of the city. The immigration was hassle free but the queue was a bit slow

A very nice airport, especially when you're about to go plane spotting there. Unfortunately, you have to walk far from the security check but however there is a buggy service. There's also a lot of shops at KLIA 2.

KUL airport is a medium level international and domestic airport. Like SIN airport you go through security at the gate. For restrooms... They were terrible. The floor was submerged under at least 1/2 cm of water in all the restrooms. Taking into consideration all the facts KUL is not at the level is should be to compete f.e.x. SIN

We arrived 2 hours early and almost missed our flight. Check-in for Air Asia is pure chaos. Immigration, 1st security check, 2nd security check, huge and unpredictable lines. The L-gates offer no chance to buy bottled drinks and you cannot even go to the other gates because you would need to pass security again on the way back.

Unfortunately we didn't get to see much of Kuala Lumpur as we were EXTREMELY delayed for our connection to Koh Samui. However airside staff were very accommodating and did their best to direct us to our onward gate at quickly as possible.

First impression was good. The staff was helpful and friendly directing us the the next flight. Maybe it was the time, 22:50 but I could not get a drink at the domestic terminal. No food outlets where open.

KUL has a few terminal facilities, a small range of Duty Free and Several Restaurants and Cafes, several of which serve typical Malaysian food. There is decent WiFi around both the International and Satellite Terminals. There are not many lounges, the best of which is the Malaysian Gold Lounge. Good Local and International Food and Drinks are served here and there is also free internet access. However, Security is lax and not to a very high standard. Baggage claim also took longer than it normally does and should do

It's very convenient to get to the airport by the KL Express. For foreigners, it's easy to understand every instruction because every Malay word follows a English word, sometimes a Japanese word. When arrive at the airport, you can also buy a local SIM card to use internet, very friendly.

main terminal - I arrived this airport as I used MH but did not stay for a long time. It's a new airport looks great. give 4 stars
low cost carrier terminal - don't expect convenient facilities since it is built for LCC. I was examined by it's employee who took my passport and asked my passport number before entering the terminal. I understand him because it's a security process. but I felt discriminated :(((

KLIA still looks new and modern. The regional Golden Lounge is adequate while the main lounge at the Satellite building has been expanded to be a huge, cavernous area for J passengers. F passenger area (Private Suite) is to the right upon entrance and while good, is no where near the Concorde Room at LHR.

KLIA is a great airport. World class quality. Golden Lounge was great... Excellent... staffs are so helpful. food was really good and always warm. But not much of beer choice though. Only serve Carlsberg Beer only. They should put more beer choices... And one more thing is there is a small step before entering the main dining area of Golden Lounge, me including other two foreigners got tripped and fell down... They should do something about that. Apart from that, everything was perfect...

I was in transit in KLIA.
The overall airport is very good. Lots of shop with some very nice things on sale. Friendly and helpful people. Ma nice variety of restaurants.
Malaysia Airlines lounge was a bit disappointing, however.

There are numerous options one can take to get the airport. Door-to-door airport transfer, taxis, KLIA Ekspres/Transit, buses, and personal vehicles are some of these options. I person ally like to take KLIA Transit due to its cheap ticket and all the wonderful and worth seeing places it passes through before reaching the terminal.
KLIA?s main terminal building alone is equivalent to the size of 72 football fields put together. It is connected to the satellite terminal through an aerotrain that runs on a pre-defined 1.3 km track. The satellite terminal serves to the international flights.
