Lisbon airport is a great international hub. You can get there by metro - very convenient or by taxi, it'll cost around 20 euros.
Lounges are great, especially the one on the second floor - you can watch planes take off and land.
Right now some areas are under renovations, which is a little uncomfortable.

Lisbon airport (Terminal 2) is quite new with very good and friendly food and retail services. The ANA Lounge is average but spaceous. WIFI connection was great all over the airport. The security check very efficient and also very friendly. Overall a very good airport.

Old airport that has been recently renewed and its quite nice. Very near the city center, very easy to get there (metro, bus, car, taxi). If you can check in before getting to the airport is better, because sometimes the check in area can become very very crowded.

I's a fantastic airport, it has a lot of restaurants, a good wi-fi connection, it's modern, a big duty-free shop, and the acess to the airport is better because now it has the subway, it also has the bus and taxi.

For me the best airport of world, i love it. All is good, the conection, the restaurants, the wc, the shops, security,,,everything perfect. I travel a lots of time in this airport and i like it, better than england airports and holland

After arriving at Lisbon airport from Heathrow, we were taxied to remote stand which meant we got on bus to terminal however when we arrived, staff found out door to passport control was unserviceable and we had to walk all the way down to other end to use serviceable door! Getting out Lisbon was fairly quick.
The tournament company that I was with booked free bus transfer to airport for group, getting to airport was good. Although before I fly to Lisbon from Heathrow, I researched and found out on official airport website that Lisbon will build underground metro to Lisbon however when I arrived, I was surprised to see that metro already existed at airport!!
Checking in was fairly fast and actually took less than 30 seconds, I was surprised! I even asked if we are done checking in!! Security check was good although I used mobile app for boarding pass and security chap asked me to enlarge barcode on my boarding pass in my mobile app and it wasn't possible, he didn't believed me and tried it himself!! Other security chap was very nice to me though.
Terminal facilities - very good, there is food court, shopping area, all in different area. Nice and clean. Didn't used lounge as I didn't have time (would have come early but my volleyball buddies would like to come a little later, and didn't want to be lonely following brilliant week with them, I went along with them anyway).
Overall, nice airport to fly in and out.

Security personnel very friendly. with tap in portela we do self check-in and then deliver the bags.

Was surprised by this airport. Very nice, modern but then why not. On time flights all around, nice shops, Not sure why I was surprised, Lisbon is surely a well traveled city. Sometimes one judges too quickly. I would definitely travel there again.

Terminal 2 is a little bland. The rest of the airport is fine. Oporto has the better one of the country.

In my opinion, the best airport. Easy access from the airport to any part of the city, wifi 100% throughout the area, well organized and always make improvements. A good restaurant area, very clean, a good Customs service.
Very safe and easy to get around. Best airport in the world compared to many others through which I passed, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, France, America and Africa.

Alem de organizado, o aeroporto de Lisboa conta com uma otima sinalizacao aos passageiros, bem como faceis deslocamentos entre os terminais oferecidos pelo proprio aeroporto. Assim, nao ha a preocupacao por parte do passageiro caso erre o terminal que deve embarcar.

Not a huge airport, but a very nice one. Also its quite near the city center (15 - 20min) with lots of choices (taxi, bus, metro, rent a car). Baggage claim was quite crowded but it didn't take too long.

Lisbon airport has an aerobus service making getting to and from the city centre easy. It took me 30 minutes from the airport to the city centre.
There were ample shops and eating/drinking places available both in arrivals and departures.
Getting through immigration took about 10 minutes and although I didn't have any baggage to collect when passing through baggage reclaim the other passengers luggage was already on the belt. Although I suspect this had a lot to do with the fact our aircraft was parked on a remote stand and the subsequent bus ride took an age!

Large airport with very entertainment options in departure lounge. Connecting passengers are quickly taken to the international departure lounge without any apparent problem. Airport quiet even though it has an intense air traffic.

Depending where you desembark, if you are in Terminal 2, you need to pass in immigration, get out of the terminal and come back in terminal 1 to have access to the food court. Terminal 1 is old but almost all services are there. There is a nice food court with many options of food since portuguese, fast food and international meals. If you are in business class, you have an exclusive line for customs. Baggage claim zone is normal. Terminal 2 is modern, but need more shops and places to eat. Wifi connection is free in T1 for 30 mins.

It was a really long way from the aircraft via buses to the terminal, and then from the entrance to the baggage reclaim, but this is not a small airport so it's no wonder.

A big part of the arrivals section is still under construction, which made it took quite a while to get from the gate to the exit of the airport. The facilities were good, and it was easy to reach the airport from the city center and the other way around. We took the metro and I would recommend it. (Quick and cheap)
Our plane left from Terminal 2, which was a short bus ride from terminal 1 with a free shuttle bus departing every 10 minutes. Terminal 2 was less chaotic as terminal 1, which was nice. The facilities on terminal 2 are a bit limited, but sufficient.
The WiFi worked well after creating an account.

T2 is only for low fares airlines, it's small but overall good. Not too much shops after seciurity, and only ~10 check in doors.

It was alright. I liked the signs font (LoL), easy to get to baggage claim and no passport check as from EU. Arriving area was a bit dark, but it wasn't a big deal. Overall, 4/5

Really cool airport. Love the design of it. Security was swift and easy. The food court was great. good selection and same goes for the duty free. good 4/5. The metro to the airport makes it very easy to get to and the wifi is great.

Security queue was very long (30-40 minutes though didn't move at all for 15) Airport is a mix match of buildings with a very random layout. Some sort of obsession with corridors and queues.

For T2: The signs where to go are small to look at or are hidden behind the wall so I nearly went to mens toilet. The WiFi is fast enough but you need to register and sign in order to get access and I give 1 star. Security staff don't speak english language just basic words.

Reminds me of a tropical country airport, refreshments are being sold on every corner. It could be cleaner, especially the toilets. Check in and customs control go pretty smooth, but it takes ages to claim your luggage. They are really taking their time there.

Lisboa nao e o melhor aeroporto do mundo no entanto tem varias vantagens tais como a proximidade a cidade, os acessos, o duty-free, entre outros.
Como pontos negativos devo referir os problemas do check-in, as filas de seguranca e o facto de muitos dos voos nao terem mangas de acesso pelo que o embarque e feito atraves de autocarros.

Much like I put for arrivals in my last review, there wasn't much choice of food, and unfortunately, the choice my family and I made wasn't very good. It was a basic sandwich which had very little taste to it.

Missed my flight due to poor security queue management. One lane was operating at half capacity, so took 40 minutes instead of the stated '10-20 min'. But staff did not inform passengers or divert them to other queues

If travelling on Oneworld flights, the lounge is a waste of time, better to stay in the public area and have some food and drinks there. In general, the gate area of T2 needs definitely a refurbushment which is - as I could see - under preparation. T1 and the lounge there for StarAlliance customers seems to be pretty good.

The airport is crowded and most of the time you have to go to the plane by bus. WiFi doesn't work. There are many options for eating and shopping. The immigration line is huge and bags take long to get to the belt.

Not much service after 22:00. Almost no seating in terminal before security. Common old type metal detectors instead of 3d scanner. Bad climate control in gate areas. Gate areas easily crowded and small. Short distances everywhere. Fast to get from check-in to security to gate. Most gates are put on information 15 minutes before boarding. Bad transfer counters, too small with not enough people. Good lounges, especially tap / star alliance.

My experience with Terminal 2 was not so good. If you fly from Terminal 1 - you are lucky, if Terminal 2 - prepare for challenges: food points and duty free shops close at 10pm approximately (honestly, only one was operating to 11:30pm), WiFi is slow, security check is strange.

Lisbon Airport Terminal 2 is especially designed for low-cost airlines and so it is extremely efficiency oriented, looks more like a hangar than a real airport building. Can be really crowded during rush hours.

It is not an easy airport to navigate, too narrow hallways and long lines on immigration for those who are not European Union or EEA citizens. The new area on Terminal 1 helped to improve a bit the boarding and disembarking for non Schengen flights, but it remains very crowded in the old area, for internal european flights. Close to city center, with a special bus to Downtown and a subway station inside the terminal, and it is a short bus, subway or taxi ride to Oriente railway station, the main connecting point for train and bus travel in all Portugal.

Half hour waiting for bagage and another half hour waiting for the baby trolley. A very poor service for an European airport and a very negative image of the country.
