The airport is too far from any part of London.
I had to drink the whole water bottle before going to the security check, so make sure your bottle is not too filled (there's a fountain in the bathrooms that fills them with cold water).

I've never been at the arport, that doesnt alow you to get back from gate to the main terminal. It's only one way peoplemover, one way escalator. Once you get to the gate you stuck. Cant get back. If you accidentaly go to another part of the airport you need to be taken by the staf

In spite of all the problems people encounter when travelling out, we never get these problems. Most are cause by the pax themselves not arriving in time to get through the mega busy security and then, spending too much time shopping or in the bars.

Best way to describe Stansted is as a cattle market on steroids. Chaos everywhere as far as they eye can see and ridiculous walks to get from Security to Departures and then to the gate. I would strongly advise arriving at least 2hrs 30mins before your flight to give you enough time

Security has a really pour service, and is one of the slowest control that I ever passed by.
You almost can loose your flight, go there with time.

Everything at Stansted was fine, although it was the day of the bus fire so we were delayed getting our coach home. Flight departed Prague and arrived at Stansted on time although we were one of the last flights to arrive at Stansted and not be diverted.

Nice and really good looking airport, most flight from here are ryanair flights, and like for cheap airport this look very cool and fancy. I expect very bad airport like on other airports where mostly flights are only ryanair flights. Very recommend!
