Fantastic airport.
NOTE: more important than ever for YOU to know the terminal NUMBER.
Each person refers to the terminal differently.
Also with departures, the bus will drop you at the lower level. You then need to go upstairs to departures - called Ticketing !!

Los Angeles airport is a beast airport in the world.American airways inside environment is very relaxable. the crew staff is very good. refreshment is not good but we suggest to American airways service center please take action about refreshment matter. at last travel of American airways is peacefull for other airlines.I PROUD TO BE A PAKISTAN.

Getting to the airport can be a mess, but fortunately, the airport has many buses to help you get there. Just make sure you plan in advance to get the one that gets you to your terminal ASAP.

Easy transfer from American Airlines to the TBIT, international terminal, for a flight with BA. Didn't have to clear security a second time and the One World lounge was excellent.

There seems to be a big overhaul to Tim Bradley international terminal. I was suprise by speed we were able to cross from Eagle's nest to the terminal, and how easily we reach our flight to London.

United Airlines Check In

United Airlines has a separate check-in for Global Services and then 1K/Platinum/Gold/Silver MileagePlus members. I was travelling LAX-DEN//DEN-SEA-YVR on two separate reservation numbers. The Premium 1K desk check-in agent was unable to combine the reservations and needed to ask for assistance from a senior manager who was curt and unfriendly. She initially checked me incorrectly until I asked her to confirm my travel connections via SEA to YVR. I asked her to use my reservation numbers but she instead I've got it here only to find that she did not have it. I asked that she confirm my bags would proceed all the way through to YVR without getting lost. She asked me to confirm my baggage tickets stating it is my responsibility to check the destinations on my luggage checkin tied to my bags. I asked about TSA-Pre which she said is nothing to do with her. Overall, it was pretty disappointing as a Platinum 1K United member. The TSA security line then was slow and inefficient. Owing to coins I had in the bottom of my bag it was tagged aside for further check. I had to wait nearly 10 minutes for another TSA agent to check my bags. I then had less then 3 minutes before my gate closed at Gate 73.

Star Alliance lounge is amazing! Sweeping design is breathtaking, open space, quiet seats, good but not great buffet, ok but not great champagne (how I rate most lounges).

I loved the Terminal Facilities @ LAX, Although Terminal 5 was a bit outdated an needed an update. If you have time take the tunnels to any of the other terminals for food.

I love the hustle and bustle of lax. Don't like the traffic entering into lax But I took the for away so it wasn't a problem. Didn't like how terminal 1 isn't connected to the other terminals with all the high end shopping.

Decent facilities available - fairly easy to get to. Security was pretty slow moving but the TBI terminal felt modern and lots of ways to kill time. Terminal offers great views over all 4 runways.

This was probably one of the best experiences that I have had at LAX in a long time. Traffic wasn't awful (in LAX standards), check in was a little confusing but easy, security was super quick, and some of the renovations that the airport has been completing have been good! Not sure about all the other terminals (besides TBIT), but T5 is pretty good.

The TBIT is far better than the other terminals, which are horrendous. I am very glad there are more arrival and departure options for getting to the US other than to LAX.

Check-in and the security check went smooth this time. Terminal 5 has sufficient services for the average wait time at an airport. The only drawback is the 45 minute limit on free WiFi which is to short for transfers or when you arrive early.

When I first traveled there they were starting to re-do the entire thing which is connected to a lot of noise, traffic and confusion. It wasn't very easy to find my way in such a big airport but I eventually managed to do so.

Security checks were very thoroughly done / emigration as well, it took us a while to go through. The immigration manager helped a lot by opening more possibilities when multiple flights arrived at the same time.

She is still working there, seen her around last time I went and I am not surprised she is, she's doing a great job.

Finding the LAX Fly Away was challenge so I preferred to be picked up and be brought back to the airport. Traffic is insane!

Baggage was VERY FAST! :)

We use Star Alliance lounge at terminal B. It was nice. Good food and spacious lounge. Travel with Marielle. Quin and Cammy, I invited them to KAL lounge with my Priority pass.

The new terminal is great. The TSA staff are self appointed nazis. Without exception they use their badgees totally inappropriately and bark orders instead of asking passengers to do things. Their demeanour totally ruined our and many other passengers opinion of this great new facility.

We are residents of the Los Angeles area and knew that getting to the airport for a 5:00pm flight would be a typical fight in traffic and it was. Check in for first class was incredibly smooth and easy. I generally can not afford to pay 1st class fees but for this one trip we used Hawaiian's bid up and scored the two seats for only $250 more per ticket. First class gets you TSA Pre-check so that was smooth.

The waiting facilities at LAX Terminal 5 are pretty basic but keep you from starvation and dehydration. At lest there is a free WiFi but I advise you not to use it for any sort of sensitive communications like banking. If you must do those things, pay the fee to get a secured WiFi.

I would love to see more healthy food options with the amount of money the city/airlines/airport make from Travelers. Also the traffic is horrible in and out of LAX, great traffic flow improvements are needed - I assume this will be addressed with a new plan according to the LAX youtube channel.

This airport is nice, but the only issue I had was there there was a shooting! I was stuck on the plane while some nut was shooting up the place. It's not really their fault so I can't hold it against them but I would have a bias review if I did rate anything. Hence the 3 star rating.

The airplane had to wait for 30 minutes on the tarmac while waiting for a free gate. The terminal was huge and crowded as all the biggest American gateways. Immigration took quite a bit, as well as customs. Lots of service avaible, as well as shuttles, car rentals, and a free connection shuttle to subway system. Very similar to other major US airports.

I recommend heading to the airport at 4 hours at minimum before a flight if possible because LA traffic is so terrible and it gets worse as you enter the airport area. I didn't have a chance to checkout inside before my flight.

Kind of a dumpy terminal where Virgin, JetBlue and Spirit board. Not a lot of food options. We were on a redeye so the security line was light. I'm shocked we weren't able to travel between terminals inside security at an airport like LAX!

Crowded as usual. Had to wait in a line to customs agents because they stopped every single person an every other person had to go through a full scan of their bags. Also, it was hard to get out of the airport because of the traffic, but I guess it's nothing unusual for this airport.

TSA checkpoints don't consistently have pre-check, the first security checkpoint after customs doesn't have precheck. they send you upstairs where precheck is closed. Best bet - walk to your next terminal then go back in. Avoid terminal 4 if possible - TSA checkpoint is in a former employee breakroom.

The security checks at LAX were extremely quick, despite the many people lined up. There are no restaurants before security in the Tom Bradley International Terminal, so eat beforehand or after security. The Wi-Fi is decent, but doesn't have the best connection.

The international departure terminal is very small. If you want to have dinner or coffee before passing security you have very few options.

Nearly two hours to cross the border at LAX. You queue and queue and after an hour you get to test you ESTA and then another hour in the queue and it is finger prints and photo and cross the border.

Loooooooooooog line at CBP. It used to be fairly smooth at the same hour but apparently they made some change to the lining procedure which basically effed up all the good old performance of LAX.
