It was hard for me getting to the airport by the public transport, but no big deal, I could have taken a cab, right?
I was waiting for check-in for a really long time, there was just one desk available.
Otherwise, the airport is a bit over average. Although, it feels SO small !

The terminal is ok.
Disappointed with Delta lounge:
No newspaper on saturday in the Delta lounge.
Even flying 1st class one must have at least platinum Amex for free access or pay for your wife. That means $29 for a poor cold breakfast.

Very difficult airport to operate as there are numerous flights. If one gets delayed it would affect the others.

Security check was a breeze, as there was no line at Terminal D for TSA pre-check. Delta Sky Club is relaxing, but food spread is minimal.

In my opinion LGA is the best airport when you travel to NYC, despite the fact that LGA is not one the prettiest airports.

Food is before TSA so if you want to eat get to the airport early terminals are not all connected and once in your area i would recommend you don't leave.

La Guardia gets a bad rap, but at least in Southwest's part of the terminal, the B concourse of terminal B, it's not too bad. There's an out of the way coffee shop airside near the security check in area called Six Blocks. It's up a ramp that looks like it might lead to the A concourse, but it's the only thing there. It's quiet, comfortable, and has a nice view of the apron. There are plenty of outlets, and the service is nice. Look for it. You won't regret it.

I don't think (terminals C/D) at LGA are bad terminals (as some people say). My main complaint is that the type of food they now have available is all very high level food. There isn't any fast food available that is familiar.

La Guardia is a good airport but the terminals need to be renovated, made bigger and it needs to have more shops and eating places.

Terminal B is still pretty sparse. You have to take a shuttle bus post security to get to B from the other terminals.

Was offered priority access. Rude security check staff. Took UBER car from Jersey City to LGA.
LGA still leaves a lot to be desired in terms of passenger experience.
The good thing was that the cabbie was an expert and it took me just about 20-25 minutes to get to LGA at express speed through Manhattan Bridge.

Gave it an extra star for the way they fancied the place up since my last visit. It's still a horrible place though, with horrible traffic, and the food is hugely expensive. But most of the Delta staff members I encountered were courteous and helpful.

Wasn't possible to get out of airport. after sitting on the runway for an hour, they sent us back to the gate to get more gas. Then told us to get off the plane, then back on the plane then canceled the flight after 3 hours. No place to get food/drink past security.

Terminal B not too bad for a 1 PM departure on a Thursday. I was shocked. If leaving from an A gate, eat first... nothing past security but Au Bon Pan and a pretzel place.

Security was incredibly slow, as if they didn't think there would be anyone travelling. Understaffed and overwhelmed, but they were yelling at passengers to move faster even though that was impossible because of the security personnel. Dreadful experience.

Very busy airport at all times and very small. It cannot support the volume. Flights are consistently delayed and room is at a premium.
If you can find another alternative. Take it!

My home airport--Departure---Check-in at United easy. Security is semi-organized chaos... the folks who scribble on your boarding pass are pleasant. No rhyme or reason behind TSA-Pre Clearance. My buddy was through in 5 minutes, it took me 15. Poor food options once past security. No free wifi. Took a taxi from home, but can also get there via several bus lines. Arrival---very crowded at Terminal D. Bumped into people trying to get off the plane, not enough seats for people waiting for flights. Baggage claim surprisingly fast for once... waited about 5 minutes (have waited over 30 minutes in the past). Ignore touts asking Taxi? They're scam artists and are illegal. They weren't an issue for years, but they're back. The mayor and Port Authority don't care. Long taxi lines... for tourists, highly recommend the M60 bus (buy ticket from machine first) into Manhattan where you can catch the subway or the Q70 Limited to Jackson Heights (where you can also catch the subway) or to Woodside (where you can catch the subway or LIRR into Penn Station). The airport is a disgrace and an embarrassment to the city and as a 3rd generation New Yorker, I deeply apologize that folks have to deal with this.

People call La Guardia a third world airport, but this is an insult to the third world. The airport is dingy and cramped. There's not much space anywhere. Lounges in terminal B are outside security, so you have to leave enough time to go through security after the lounge.
The only thing to love about La Guardia is takeoff.

In Terminal B there was a very old look. Limited eating areas and limited food outlets. The men's urinals a very close to each other.

Everything went well, but at check we could not be upgraded or put on the stand by list for an upgrade due to my companion. Desk agent said she did not know why she was not allowed. On board the plane, one female flight attendant was very snobby and not one but helpful when it came to my bag which I couldn't put over head due to the fact that everyone on the back of the plane put their bags up front.
