Nice airport and i'm excited to see how the new terminals are going to be, when you land you see the whole new buildings it's going to be huge, but the people in the airport is very mean.

Well outside Panama City, traffic can be a nightmare, especially during rush hours. Landside always seems to be busy and during the 'waves' of flight arrivals/departures airside can be very crowded. New North terminal has helped and new South terminal due in 2017 should improve thing greatly. Check-in and security went smoothly, though for economy class queue's it can be quite tiresome.

Hi, I'm from Panama, and bealive me, the Tocumen Intl. is an airport that you can get in love quickly, is pretty comfortable have a stop in the 'Hub de las Americas', you can enjoy and spend time in our duty free stores or have some delicious plates in our restaurants, You're always gonna be Welcome to Panama!

Considering my extended experience in other major terminals at US (Houston, Austin, Washington-Dulles), I must say Tocumen is a very good airport, with good facilities and with good services, so far. I have used it as departure and arrival airport.
So far, I have found everything I needed, bathrooms, food (they have a foodcourt and other restaurants within the airport), batteries for my camera, they have wifi, VIP Lounges and, in my opinion, roomy waiting areas before boarding.
The airport is going through remodelations and the construction of a new and bigger terminal. It is very easy to get there from the city.
Does it have room for improvement? Yes, it does, and it is in the process, and by far, it is the best and really modern airport of the region.

I'm from Panama city,Panama, and Tocumen Intl. Airport is our main international airport, isn't bad, but I know that could be better, better times for this airport are coming for the PTY Airport, the service is normal, we have lots of duty free stores, restaurant and other greatest things to do while you are waiting for your flight. VISIT PANAMA!

Great, the airport still growing up, but you can still watching some problems like with the Wi-fi, it's awfull, the AC sucks like always, I'm hoping that soon someone can help and figure out all these problems.

Facilities in airport, as restrooms, aren?t enough for the rising crowds due to its Hub condition. Most of times there such a big jam of people in front of lavatories waiting for their turn.

Connections there are a breeze, very straightforward and there are lots of options for food and shopping. It is not a small airport, though, and it may be necessary to make some good walking to your connecting gate.

Poor quality of Flight Information Display , looking for my connecting flight for 20 minutes to Quito I had to go around the United boarding area to ask to the counters because the display sowed only the flight on alphabetic order up to M .In 50 minutes the flight changed 3 times 245a 24 a and 20 A boarding by bus .

The airport is quite congested at any time of day and the remodeling do a little uncomfortable. However the connections are simple and the process of check-in, immigration and customs are quite fast. I hope soon to finish the new terminal

PTY is a mess. Dirty, poor ventilation and crowded. However, it is efficient. Shopping here is no sensical as prices are terrible.

Efficient for connections but, very poor service, crowded and filthy bathrooms, expensive stores, extremely filthy seats in waiting areas, noisy, not well planned and bad design. Should not be the image of the main Latin American connection hub.

On the departure gates there is not enough seats to be waiting, not nice if is not your first flight of the day. Small and crowded, it feels claustrophobic.

Efficient in connections... However, this airport is a mess. Bathrooms are filthy, crowded and hot. AC doesn't work, ceilings are leaking, duty free is dying due to pending money laundering investigation and food is pure garbage.

Totally non-smoking, even outside the airport - taxi would be needed if a smoke is required after dropping off case. Food in business lounge was only crisps and biscuits. No fast track check-in.

It is dirty and crowded, smelly and stuffy, old and out of date... All is wrong with this hub. Lounge is preposterous, shops overpriced, food scarce and from terrible quality, staff unfriendly...

Worst check-in ive ever had. I was number 15 in line and it took 1:20 hrs to get to the counter cuz the staff spoke more to eachother and had a good time instead of doing their job. Security check staff was a joke and i really dont think they know what their job is about. WiFi works when it works. However not all is bad, it was great to depart...

Efficient yet crowded. Looks like a bazaar. Dirty bathrooms, general decay, poor maintenance. Hot. Second floor food zone is chaos and dirty. Windows are always dirty. Stores are overpriced. Copa lounge is a joke.
