Changi Airport when I arrived was very quiet, and poorly staffed in my opinion. Immigration was a timely process, much longer than usual. This congestion occurred purely because only two immigration officers were on duty, operating two stalls for 300 passengers. This may seem all bad but Changi Airport is a very lovely place, and has a wide range of food options as well as duty free items. In addition, the staff were very polite and friendly, making it one of my favourite Airports to travel to.

Clearly one of the worlds best managed airports. Very spatious, very clear signs, very efficient immigration. WiFi though is very slow and limited in time. Even in Singapore Airlines T3 lounge it was very bad.

Great airport to transit at night. Terminal 3 is way better than any of the other terminals, lounges are located near each other and there are many themed retail and food outlets.

Passenger traffic gets light past 1AM, relatively still busy past midnight.

The best airport in the world. This airport can do no wrong. You will be spoilt for choices when it comes to duty free shopping, culinary experiences, recreational activities and sightseeing (yes!!). It is a destination on its own, even for locals!

After many trips to Singapore we had to queue for over an hour for immigration previously we were virtually straight through hoping it was a one off.Krisflyer lounge has become overcrowded but the service is still good. Still my favourite airport i am sure they will fix the immigration issue.

1st time passing Terminal 4 and it surprise me as a low cost terminal .. there is no difference to the other 3 terminals.
Very convenience to check in using the self check in machine.
A lot of chair to sit while waiting and also a lot of food to choose.

Immigration might took a while to go. However, all the airport amenities are just so good. I did managed to sleep well in their Snooze Lounge in Terminal 3. Therefore I do not feel too tired when I was on the flight. Their food option was good as well.

Oviously, I ahve not been to every airport on the planet and I never will but I have been to a lot, hundreds.

Changi has to be the best airport I currently know.

Immigration: easy
Security: very easy
Checking in: easy
Somewhere to sit: easy
wifi: easy ... very easy

The best airport in the world. Had a long layover at SIN, but never felt how the time flew when I was there. The airport is very beautiful, the facilities are the best I have seen. 5 out of 5! No wonder why it is ranked #1 consecutively.

Customer service at a few stores as well as security are poor and in need of training. Bad reflection of the excellent reputation Changi Airport prides itself in.

Terminal 4 toilets are very far apart.

Terminal 4 is full of automation and is pleasant to use. At odd hours, the shuttle bus isn't very frequent compared to the Skytrain, as the bus takes up to 30 minutes

Transited through Singapore was a breeze, large spacious terminals with lots of interesting thing to look at apart from the retail services. Lots of things to keep you amused while waiting for you flight.

A great airport! The only minor issue is that you have to get an individual code to use the free wi-fi. The process is automated, but you have to enter your passport number. Not at all a big deal, but I forgot to do it before leaving the secure area. When my ride wasn't there, I didn't have free wi-fi to check on things. I'm sure I could have found that somewhere else, but next time I'll remember to get my code earlier!

Usually am very impressed with Changi services. But on this occasion, the service with a wheelchair for my father was poor. One person came with a chair and was unable to take him to the next gate for procedural reasons, I guess it was because the next flight was in a different terminal. But they should have known that as we had pre-booked it with all the flight details. We had to go to a transfer counter at the other terminal. So, as the connection time was short, I ended up having to wheel him myself the rest of the way. And I had to get an airport wheelchair which was different to the aeroplane transfer wheelchair. Poor service. The passengers were already boarding by the time we arrived at the gate due to this delay.

I can't disagree with Changi Airport being one of the best in world. It is very high class, with lots of nature, luxuries, but that of course doesn't come cheap, but I personally think you really get what you paid for with this airport. I really cannot disagree with this airport being called a tourist attraction itself, it really is a marvel of engineering, and effort.

Airport very quiet at 4.30 am. Shower at the Terminal 3 Transit Hotel greatly welcomed and at a good price. Inter-terminal transfer easy with the trains. Breakfast was enjoyed.

Arrived at 4.30 am so the airport was waking up. Showers in the Transit Hotel Terminal 3 are a great way to refresh before onward flight. Very reasonably priced for thirty minutes. Food options limited at this time so opted for Burger King. Pleasant place for a three hour stopover.

It's a beautiful airport, but security check-ins are located in-front of every gate. So it's impossible to buy a bottle of a water and bring it on board of an aircraft.

A lovely airport to transit through however centralised security screening instead of at the gate would be great. Not sure why so many passport and boarding pass checks are necessary. Immigration on arrival tends to be very slow.

Singapore Air has adopted European style checkin arrangement for Econ class pax, i.e. only self-serve kiosk available for checkin and boarding pass/luggage tags printing.
Therefore no special requests nor change of seats/request for block seats could be made!

In genreal SIN is a good airport. However, honestly I do not understand why people are so excited and admiring of Changi airport. In my opinion SIN is an airport like any other, nothing that special, its just an airport. However, SIN has managed to make it's immigration and security check system a breeze. Overall, SIN is a well run airport, but nothing very special.
I did visit the SIA Kris Flyer Gold Lounge in T2. The food selection was good but the facilities were laking.

Changi is just a great airport. Plenty of space to walk around, plenty of activities that can be done within the terminal, so it's hard to get bored at this airport.

Had to transfer from Terminal 4 to terminal 1. Not easy signs and information confusing.

Have to catch a bus to terminal 2 then walk from one end to the other, then catch train to Terminal 1. There are no signs to explain this.

Don't know why but on arrival at SIN, all of us were herded into a security check. Shoes, belts, electronic equipment call passed through the X-ray machine. No explanation given. Baggage also very late, even mine marked Priority was almost the last to come through, 45 minutes after docking. Very Poor.
