My favourite airport so far. Very easy to navigate, fantastic views on apron and sunset from huuuge windows. Good facilities and helpful staff.

WAW is a modern airport with little delays and clean toilets. There are lots of waiting spaces airside.

At 10PM the lounge was cleaned up while it should operate until 11PM. Only cold beer, coffee and sweets were available

Security control was fast and efficient, however passport control took unreasonable amount of time. Establishing Wi-Fi connection was convoluted, requiring copying and pasting URLs.

Long queue to check in, but luckily guy from handling company told me about self check-in possibility. Very quick security check, so total time spent on checking in + security + passport control was about 20 minutes. Iqos smoking place is open only between 8 AM/8 PM, general smoking places are very crowded.

The flight from Amsterdam on 12 June 2019 was late and I missed my connection flight to Rzeszow. Getting to the terminal took me 40 minutes after landing, nobody waited for passengers at the gate to help find another connection or provide information. I had to collect my baggage at the lost baggage desk which took another 40 minutes and I had to walk 3 times between the bus terminal and passenger info desk to find the hired coach because nobody knew where it actually was and coordination between airport personnel was really bad. No willingness to help, no communication, no information. After some 3 hours the bus finally departed to the destination airport. I arrived 10 hours behind schedule.

On that day, the same situation happened to some 50 other
passengers from my flight and flights from New York and Toronto, which suggests that the aircraft to Rzeszow actually departed half empty.

Thank you LOT Polish Airlines. I'd rather fly Ryanair next time.

This time I was not let through the gold track for security (I was flying economy Swiss with Star Alliance Gold and a Diners Club card too). when my ticket was scanned I was not allowed access and the uninformed staff was convinced that if the ticket won't scan I cannot go through, despite having two cards granting me access on me at the time.

Very basic place, rather small to be a hub. Not handy for connections, staff of airport not very friendly or helpful either.

Layout and signs are so horribly done that it makes people miss their flights.

LOT Business lounge is crowded and food is not that good. Toilets are... Weird.
